It is recommended that as
many as possible of the following suggested goals be
adopted, and plans to achieve these goals implemented. The
goals have in most cases been stated generally so as not to
limit the ways in which those goals may be successfully
achieved. The more of these goals that any school implements
the greater will be the degree of success of their positive
social change program. If all of these goals are implemented
with care and enthusiasm success will be virtually
guaranteed.
Note:
Please do not feel this is a complete list. It will be the
case that as those working to implement this program become
well acquainted with the learning technology and the wide
ranging scientific, philosophical and spiritual basis of the
program they will be able to determine many important new
goals, and will find many unique ways to achieve those
goals.
A. Goals for children:
1.
All children should come to know and understand the
positive, accurate, and motivational world view which is an
integral part of this program of positive social change.
2.
All children should come to know and understand the
laws of learning by which all human behaviours develop which
is an integral part of this program of positive social
change.
3.
Children should come to understand as compellingly
important their role in helping to solve the many problems
facing our world, and their responsibility to make
themselves good, to help make society good, and to make the
physical world good(a clean and beautiful garden pleasing to
Allah).
4.
The children should be introduced to and helped to
understand the importance of the 25 Values identified by
LPPKN(and the Khalifah Project) as important to their
positive social development.
5.
Discussion and participation in how to implement the
Khalifah values in the daily lives of the children should be
carried out during the school year.
6.
Training materials should be developed for children
concerning all aspects of the positive social change
program.
7.
All children should have regular class meetings(at
least weekly) to gain knowledge about all aspects of the
positive social change program, to instill motivation for
their participation in the program, and to develop
individual and group plans as to how to best implement the
program.
8.
The children should be encouraged to discuss(with an
emphasis on positive aspects) all aspects of the program
with classmates, friends, brothers and sisters, parents and
other relatives.
9.
Children should be encouraged to think often about
the program, focusing on all positive aspects and to
contemplate the wonderful future a successful implementation
of the program will offer them.
10.
Children should be encouraged to give lots of reward
to themselves and others for good deeds, good words and good
thoughts.
11.
Children should be encouraged to give kind and
considerate feedback to correct themselves and others
concerning any bad deeds, bad words, or bad thoughts which
might occur.
12.
Children should be encouraged to develop a strong
desire to gain knowledge in all areas and to enjoy the
process of learning.
13.
Children need to understand how important it is to
the success of the program that others notice the positive
changes they are making in all aspects of their lives.
14.
A means should be provided for children from
different classrooms (and later from different schools) to
share their ideas and successes with others.
15.
Children with access to email facilities should be
encouraged to communicate with other children all over the
world to let them know about their positive social change
program and how easily we can have a better world.
16.
Opportunities should be provided for those children
who excel in their understanding and implementation of the
positive social change project to become trainers of program
knowledge and implementation for younger children.
17.
Children should be given as much responsibility for
the ongoing implementation of the positive social change
program as they are able to handle successfully.
B. Goals for teachers:
1.
All teachers should come to know and understand the
positive, accurate, and motivational world view which is an
integral part of this program of positive social change.
2.
All teachers should come to know and understand the
laws of learning by which all human behaviours develop which
is an integral part of this program of positive social
change.
3.
Teachers should teach children to understand as
compellingly important their role in helping to solve the
many problems facing our world, and their responsibility to
make themselves good, to help make society good, and to make
the physical world good(a clean and beautiful garden
pleasing to Allah).
4.
The teachers should be introduced to and helped to
understand the importance of the 25 Values identified by
LPPKN(and the Khalifah Project) as important to the positive
social development of the children they are teaching.
5.
The teachers should initiate discussion and
participation in how the children can implement the Khalifah
values in their daily lives throughout the school year.
6.
Teachers should be given the opportunity to receive
training in all aspects of the positive social change
program.
7.
Training materials should be developed for teachers
concerning all aspects of the positive social change
program.
8.
Teachers should be encouraged to provide ample time
and opportunity for children to learn about and implement
the positive social change program.
9.
Teachers should find ways to incorporate aspects of
the positive social change program in every subject they
teach to the children.
10.
Teachers should attempt to always be an example of
good and right behaviour for the children.
11.
Being rewarding through communication with the
children, correctly based on the laws of learning, should
become a natural pattern of teacher’s interaction with
children.
12.
Close personal relationships should be developed
with the children by teachers so as to maximize the effect
of positive interactions with the child, be a more powerful
role model, and enhance the effect of social reward.
13.
The teachers should be encouraged to discuss(with an
emphasis on positive aspects) all aspects of the program
with other teachers, friends, brothers and sisters, parents
and other relatives.
14.
Teachers should be encouraged to give lots of reward
to the children for good deeds, good words and good
thoughts.
15.
Teachers should be encouraged to give kind and
considerate feedback to correct children concerning for any
bad deeds, bad words, or bad thoughts which might occur.
16.
Teachers should be encouraged to reward themselves
for their part in the successful implementation of the
program any time they see positive changes by the children
in their class.
17.
Teachers need to understand how important it is to
the success of the program that others notice the positive
changes they and their students are making in all aspects of
their lives.
18.
A means should be provided for teachers from
different classrooms (and later from different schools) to
share their ideas and successes with others.
19.
Teachers should eventually take over all aspects of
the program implementation as they become sufficiently
motivated to do so, and feel confident of their ability to
do so.
C.
Goals for parents:
1.
All parents should come to know and understand the
positive, accurate, and motivational world view which is an
integral part of this program of positive social change.
2.
All parents should come to know and understand the
laws of learning by which all human behaviours develop which
is an integral part of this program of positive social
change.
3.
All parents should be introduced to and helped to
understand the importance of the 25 Values identified by
LPPKN(and the Khalifah Project) as important to the positive
social development of their children.
4.
All parents should be supportive of discussion with
their children in how to implement the Khalifah values in
daily life at home and in the school throughout the school
year.
5.
Parents should be given the opportunity to receive
training in all aspects of the positive social change
program.
6.
Training materials should be developed for parents
concerning all aspects of the positive social change
program.
7.
Parents should make an agreement with the school to
support, and implement the positive social change program in
the home.
8.
Parents should be encouraged to discuss(with an
emphasis on positive aspects) all aspects of the program
with their children, family, friends, and associates.
9.
Parents should attempt to always be an example of
good and right behaviour for their children.
10.
Parents should be encouraged to give lots of reward
to their children for good deeds, good words and good
thoughts.
11.
Parents should be encouraged to give kind and
considerate feedback to correct their children for any bad
deeds, bad words, or bad thoughts which might occur.
12.
Parents should teach their children to understand as

their ideas and successes regarding the positive social
change program with others.
16.
Parents should find out as much as possible about
how their children’s school is implementing the positive
social change program and attempt to support all aspects of
that program in the home.
17.
Procedures should be should be set up to aid parents
in their efforts to implement the positive social change
program in their homes.
D. General program goals:
1.
Ideally everyone at the school, including
administration, secretarial, housekeeping, and others should
be aware of and be supportive of the implementation of all
aspects of the positive social change program.
2.
Each school should have at least one person who is
responsible for all aspects of the positive social change
program’s successful implementation.
3.
The person at each school with overall responsibility
for the successful implementation of the positive social
change program should become very knowledgeable about both
the positive, accurate, and motivational world view, and the
laws of learning by which all human behaviours develop.
4.
There should be individual discussions with children
identified as having problems of any kind to give them
special encouragement and assistance.
5.
There should be individual discussions with children
identified as leaders within the school environment to
encourage them to use their position to assist in the
successful implementation of the positive social change
program.
6.
It is important that discussion of any aspect of the
positive social change program may be discussed freely and
objectively by anyone involved, but it is also important
that no discussions concerning the program be carried out in
a negative manner.
7.
The school environment should be made physically
attractive and conducive to the successful implementation of
the positive social change program in all ways.
8.
Posters and artwork depicting all aspects of the
positive social change program should be displayed
prominently in classrooms and throughout the school.
9.
While never losing sight of the specific goals,
ideology, technology, and methods of this positive social
change program those involved in its implementation should
always feel free to express their creativity within those
parameters.
10.
When the time is right politicians, media
representatives, community and religious leaders should be
made aware of the successes and the potential of the
positive social change program.
11.
Training should be offered by schools for interested
community members who are not associated with the schools to
generate wide interest and support for the positive social
change program.
12.
Government, corporate and private support should be
sought for all aspects of the positive social change
program.
13.
Wide ranging collaboration with tertiary
institutions of learning should be sought in support of the
positive social change program.
Activities should be developed to disseminate all
successful aspects of the positive social change program
throughout the world, which can be very rewarding to all
involved.
