Purpose:

To demostrate the extremely high degree of success possible by the full implementation of the Khalifah Method in a school environment.

Goal:

To raise children to be Muslim of excellent character who are highly motivated to learn and superior academically.

Expectation:

That within one year of education under the full Khalifah Method the students will be so far beyond others in their age group that their excellence in all areas of endeavor will be immediately obvious to any observer.

Khalifah Model School Method (General):

All aspects of school life will be run according to the full Khalifah Method. This will include the traditional knowledge and practices of Islamic educational methods combined with very powerful techniques of Modern Islamic Psychology using the Laws of Learning by which all human characteristics develop. The Khalifah Method relies heavily on the style of interaction with and training of children according to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The positive benefits of this warm and loving, although firm, method of relating to children will be maximized by directing all communication with children according to the Laws of Learning, given to us as a Mercy by Allah to enable us to guide ourselves and others toward all that Allah has told us is right in the Islamic way of life.

Curriculum:

Full National curriculum plus Dinniah courses (Arabic, Quran, Hadith, Islamic Studies). Cooperative learning, problem-based and group projects will be included as class activities.

Classes:

2006 primary 1-4, 2007 primary 1-5, 2008 primary 1-6, 15 students per primary class.

Student to teacher ratio 7:1

Teacher assistants (parents & education/psychology students):

5-10, giving student to adult ratio 5:1

8.30 am to 4.00 pm

Location:

An attractive and secure setting in a bungalow right across the Khalifah Institute in Taman Ampang Utama (Accross from Ampang Point)

Parent Program:

All parent will be required to participate in training in the use of the Khalifah Mehtod in the home, and must commit to interact with their children according to the Khalifah Method in the home so as to support and strenghen the positive changes and successes the children are enjoying by their attendance in the Khalifah Model School.

Student Selection Process:

The student will be carefully selected from families committed to helping to ensure the success of the Khalifah Institute in offering knowledge that is of great benefit to the Muslim ummah and helping to raise a generation of young Muslims who will be superior in every way, both in character and ability. Families and children must not have already been so heavily influenced by the decadent Western cultural lifestyle that their behaviour would be inappropriate in an Islamic educational institution.

General Information:

The Khalifah Model School will be run as a demonstration project to showcase the full extent of the positive spiritual and academic growth children can make under an educational system completely based on the Khalifah Method. The Khalifah Model School will also become a training facility to provide teachers, from the many schools desiring to adopt the Khalifah Method into their curriculum, first hand experience in the application of the Khalifah technology and methodology.

Unique benefits:

• The Khalifah Model School will remain small and highly exclusive due to its function as a showcase for the successful implementation of the Khalifah Method.

• The Khalifah Method is an educational program which at this time is not available anywhere else in the world.

• Students will be taught special knowledge important to their role as Khalifah of Allah which will provide an armour for their beautiful Islamic faith against the wrongful ideas and influences of secular materialist beliefs and harmful cultural practices.

• Due to the showcase and training functions of the Khalifah Model School parents will not be required to carry the full financial burdern of such an exemplary school program. The fees will be partially subsidized by the Khalifah Institute through private contributions and corporate sponsorship.

• The student/teacher and student/adult ratios in the school will always be kept very low to maximize the benefits of a Khalifah education for the students.

• We know of no other educational program that potentially offers so much to the children in terms of correct Islamic character development, focus on love of Allah and Islam, instilling desire for knowledge (both spiritual and worldly), and motivation for high academic achievement.

• It is expected the Khalifah Model School program will receive wide attention from educators, government authorities, and media both within Malaysia and throughout the world. This will of course necessitate and further ensure all aspects of the school program must meet the very highest standards.

• Ultimately the Khalifah Model School will expect the students coming out of the program to become shining examples of all that a good and right Muslim should be, and who will become beacons of Light guiding world society toward all that Allah has ordained for His Creation. It is our desire, InshaAllah, to provide our students with the opportunity to become leaders of a "Transforming Generation" who can help transform today's unhappy secular world into a God-centered, spriritual future - a fullly and truly Islamic world.
