CONTACT CARE: 5 DO'S & DON'TS
1.Do wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses, preferably with a non-perfumed soap. 2.Do clean, rinse and air dry your lens case, each time the lenses are removed from the cases, or else they'd be sprouting bacteria faster than you can blink! Also replace lens cases regularly. 3.Do be sure to clean, rinse and disinfect your soft lenses if they have been stored for more than 12 hours. 4.Do see your eye care professional at least once every six months. 5.Do replace your contact lenses regularly,
for they do suffer wear and tear.

| DON'TS | ||
|
1.Don't wear your lenses beyond the prescribed wearing time. For instance, daily wear lenses have to be removed before you go to sleep and disposables should be discarded when their time is up. 2.Don't use saliva to wet your lenses. 3.Don't use unsterile home-prepared saline, distilled or tap water for any part of your lens care regimen. 4.Don't allow your lenses to come in contact with cosmetic lotions, creams or sprays. Insert lenses before putting on make-up and remove them before you remove your make-up. Do remember that water-based cosmetic are less likely to damage your lenses than oil-based products. 5.Don't change your lens care regimen or solutions without consulting your eye care professional. |
