CHOOSING YOUR CONTACT LENSES

You and your eye care practitioner will discuss which type and style of contact lens best suit you. The choice depends primarily on your vision problem, but you'll also need to consider what recreational and work activities you do, how often you want to wear your contacts, and how much time you're willing to devote to their care. After you've chosen between soft and rigid gas-permeable lenses, pick a style that fits your needs.

Type of Lens
Carefully consider the pros and cons of each type of lens. Your eyecare practitioner will help you decide whether soft lenses or rigid gas-permeable lenses are best for you.

The chart below tells you the different ways you can get each type of lens.
