Apple Custard Pie



 

Ingredients:
  • 2    Egg yolks
  • 1 c  Sugar
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 2 c  Apples; peeled and sliced
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 1     Pie crust  (9 inch)

 
Direction:

In top of double boiler,combine egg yolks and sugar.  Add butter, apples and vanilla; stir to mix.Place over boiling water in double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened.Pour into pie crust.  Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
