Chicken With Carrots And Onions

 
 
Ingredients:
  • 2 chickens (broilers), cut in halves
  • 8 carrots, peeled, sliced
  • 3 onions, peeled, sliced
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • seasonings to taste
  • Direction:
    Put all ingredients in a kettle. Cover. Let cook slowly for 40 minutes. Then serve.
