Cream Cheese Cookie Frosting

 
 
 
 
Ingredients:
  • 8oz pkg cream cheese or light cream cheese
  • 16 oz box powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Wilton color pastes

 
Direction:

Let cream cheese come to room temperature. Mix in powder sugar
until smooth.  Add vanilla. Mix in desired color pastes.

Frost cookies and let frosting completely dry, about 1 hour. Store
layers of cookies with wax paper in between.

You can use food coloring, but you will need a little more powder
sugar. The wilton pastes are great, very color intense and they
have no taste red and even black!
