Peel and core 5 cups fresh fruit. Blend it in a blender. Then heat it in a sauce pan (add spices if you wish such as cinnamon, etc.) Blend a second time.Pour fruit puree onto a cookie sheet that has been spread with saran wrap. Spread the puree the best way you can. A plastic egg turner works great. Bake it in the oven at 150 for 8 hours.
Apples, plums are sweet enough as they are, You might try blending a ripe banana with pears, apricots and berries. When fresh fruit is non-abundant, you can use nonsweetened apple sauce. Heat it in a pan, add some cinnamon, then blend it in a blender and spread it on a cookie sheet which has been covered with saran wrap.
