Mulled Cider 

 

  • 2 qts Apple cider
  • 1/2 c Brown sugar
  • 1 t Whole allspice
  • 1-1/2 t Whole cloves
  • 2 pieces Cinnamon stick
  • Orange slices

Mix cider and sugar in a crock pot or slow cooker. Put spices in a tea ball or tie in a cheese cloth; add to cider. Heat on high for 1 hour, and brew on low 2 - 3 hours before serving. May keep at serving temperature for many hours. Serve with a ladle. Makes 8 servings.
