Dinner Message
Praise be to Allah (S.W.T.) for allowing me the opportunity, and giving me the health, to offer a message of hope for the future on this occasion of the Khalifah Institute’s Second Annual Fund Raising Dinner
Besides being an opportunity to renew old friendships and make new ones, this dinner serves the noble purpose of offering all participants the opportunity to become an active part of an innovative plan to help bring about a better and more Islamic world.
Seldom, if ever, since the Golden Age of Islam has there been such a need for Muslims to join together in the struggle against the evils of the world that so powerfully threaten the very future of our ummah and the right Islamic way of life given to us by Allah.
We at the Khalifah Institute believe that Allah has in His Mercy provided us with a practical solution to this greatest of threats to Islam. Through our understanding of this solution the Khalifah Institute is attempting to develop and disseminate information and materials to make this solution known to Muslims and non-Muslims worldwide.
We begin by offering seminars, training, workshops, and publications (books, CD’s, posters) for the parents, teachers, and youth of Malaysia with the goal of helping to initiate such positive changes in Malaysian society, InshaAllah, that the whole world will come to see us as an example of what a rightly guided Islamic nation can do to combat the evil influences of modern society and will desire to model their society on ours.
We are pleased with the successes we have had in helping to bring this Islamic knowledge and right social practice to the people of Malaysia through the Khalifah Institute during our first year, although when you do service for Allah there is always the desire to do much more.
Whatever we have achieved during this past year, we could not have done without the financial assistance and/or active participation of our many wonderful supporters and volunteers. We are in the position to do much more next year than we were able to do this past year, but without your continued assistance we would be able to do nothing.
Please dear brothers and sisters, help us and work with us so that Allah’s Will can become the way of the world and we can reduce the powerful influences that Shaitan has on modern society. We have the potential to finally win the long battle of good against evil and usher in a virtual paradise on Earth as our legacy to the young Muslims of future generations. May our efforts in Allah’s cause always prosper.
We humbly ask Allah’s Guidance and Blessing for all.
